Set Backs? or The Advantages of Aging?

Dear friends,

As the day Mr. Obama becomes Mr. President approaches, I grow afraid that the poisonous
atmospherics of Washington DC. have begun to effect the decision making of our beloved leader.
Today we learned that he feels that the prosecution of criminal acts undertaken by the Bush administration is not going to take place. He feels that we must focus on the future; not dwell in the past.
This is a terrible mistake. An administration that will adhere to the rule of law as it's hall mark must not begin by ignoring the illegal acts committed by these criminals in the White House.

Imagine going before a judge and defending your act of robbing a bank as something that happened in the past, and that you must be allowed to be judged on what you might not do in the future. You and your lawyer would be laughed out of court.

There can be no justice in an administration, that begins with a blind eye to the past.

There is a important truth that lies within the saying "The Advantages of Aging". Having recently passed my 60th year, I guess that I qualify as a person who has an "Advantage".
Even though I do not qualify for medicare or Social Security for a few more years.

You are a young man Mr. president elect, wise beyond your years, Please do not let the smokey rooms of Washinton DC, cloud that clear vision and determination that I felt I saw in your eyes as you addressed the crowds during your campaign.

Dont make the same mistake that Rep. Pelosie made, when in the interest of expediancy she removed the impeachment of this criminal Bush from the conversation of our newly elected
democratic house members. You and I are going to need all 8 years of a successful Presidancy to undo the damage done by the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
